Ukrainian goalkeeper of Real Madrid Andriy Lunin decided to leave the club.
According to the Spanish media, Lunin told Florentino Perez about his plans – the main reason is that the goalkeeper is tired of waiting for his chance and being a backup for Courtois, who has a contract until the summer of 2027.
Peres was surprised by Lunin’s desire to leave the club and wants him to stay. However, the president is not going to keep the goalkeeper by force and issued an ultimatum – Andrii can leave if 30 million euros are paid for him.
Lunin did not get any game practice this season. The goalkeeper can play in the Spanish Cup only in 2026.
Earlier it became known that Lunin did not want to play for the national team because of Rebrov’s decision.
