At the same time, in his native Kovalevka, Pozdeev’s team did not differ at all, therefore, before the break, we thought it was a bad thing, whether the departure of Valery Ivashchenko from the same “Obolona” would not be the only resignation in these two weeks. But no, the management continues to give a credit of trust, which means that we just have to wait for the outcome of this story. Moreover, “Kolos” managed to buy up on the market before the closing of the transfer window, up to 450 thousand. euro! The team was strengthened by Kosovar defender Ilir Krasnychy from Lapa and Georgian linebacker Giorgi Moiskrapishvili from Dynamo Tbilisi. There is very little information about these newcomers, therefore, as in most cases, we will get to know each other as the case progresses. But will these infusions help at the last moment?

Cherkasy LNZ was also not idle on the transfer market this summer, but here the activity was limited to high-quality preparation for the season and point strengthening, so there was no need to grab lifelines at the last moment. In a word, the “violets” are building a project that has yet to be launched, judging by the optimistic start of the season.

But no one says that this task will be simple. In the first season in the “elite”, LNZ was engaged in the fact that, as befits newcomers, he settled more comfortably in the standings and stayed away from the relegation zone. At the end of the campaign, there was even a prospect of jumping into the European Cups, but that would be too much and there would be a great risk of repeating the fate of “Colossus”, which soared sharply above all expectations, and now has fallen to such a state with its ambitions.

Will the LNZ project achieve similar participation? Everything in this life is possible. However, the Spaniard Andres Carrasco, who is familiar with our football, was invited to the post of head coach not because the club’s leaders predicted failure. There is still a lot of work to be done, but the first results are not long in coming. The victory over “Rukh” (3:1) was powerful, but the last defeat against “Dynamo” (0:1) was already an inferiority complex. They gave up their football and lost. Perhaps this should become a lesson.

The football paths of “Kolos” and LNZ previously crossed twice in the framework of the Premier League. There is an advantage in the number of victories in favor of the club from Cherkassy – 1 successful match and one more game ended in a draw. The goal difference is 2:4. LNZ’s biggest and only victory came in the last meeting in May of this year – 3:1, when goals by Vladyslav Naumts and Eynel Soares, as well as an own goal by Aleksandr Chernomorts against Valery Bondarenko’s goal, brought victory to the “violet” on the opponent’s field.
