-Cyril, glad to see you again in yellow-black colors! What are your first emotions after returning to Bukovina?
– Thank you for the greeting! I am very happy to return to this club, to this city. I have very pleasant memories from the season I spent here. Everything is very positive!
– When did you find out that Bukovina wants to sign you again? What were your first emotions about this?
– If we talk about this off -season, I learned for the first time about the club’s interest in mid -December, but not everything in this regard depended on me because I had a contract with Mine. Therefore, I am very glad that the clubs have agreed. I also want to thank the “mina” for going to me, let’s say, towards, for some concessions. Glad that everything happened!
– Actually, remembering “Minaj”, it can be noted that you gained the experience of games in UPL, worked with Zelko Lubenovich. What gave you this career period?
– Of course, it was a good career period. You have correctly noted that I gained the experience of games in the Premier League, where other speeds, other requirements for players. It is very interesting to play there, I think every player wants to respond to the level of UPL. It was very interesting to work with Zelko Lubenovich. He is a young specialist who has, say, the European approach to the football process. Zelko conducted interesting workouts, so this career period went to me only for the benefit and I am very pleased with them.
– Cyril Prokopchuk sample of the summer of 2023, when you left Bukovina and the winters of 2025 are different football players or not? How did you change during this period?
– older at least (laughs). Since his first speech for Bukovina, he became a more experienced player. Hope my game has improved in these 2 years.
– What about this time, in your opinion, has changed “Bukovina”?
– Everything is simple here: if you play players with whom they played here together, no one left. Only people from staff, management, media center. The club has changed everything dramatically: more ambitious plans appeared, more ambitious tasks. That is, everything is done for football players, they create all the conditions for everyone to think only about football and do everything dependent on themselves so that the club achieves the goals.
-What is your top memory of the past period for Bukovina? Perhaps a goal at the Chernihiv goal or something else?
– I think every football player loves to score, but I like a defender more like a defender when my team plays “zero”. I was remembered that there was a very good team. It is clear that the first circle was a little greased, because then there was a new team, we were rubbed to each other. In the spring, they have increased, more played and the results have improved. It was very interesting to work under the guidance of Andrei Melnychuk.
– You have already taken part in the training process. How did the team accept you and whom you used to be familiar with?
– The team accepted quite well. Very friendly team, guys joke a lot. I like when the team has a good atmosphere at a time when a big deal is doing. In such an environment, all loads are better tolerated. I played many guys, but in one team was only with Ivan Tyshchenko – in the youth “Alexandria”, and Ivan Ponomarenko at the Dnipro Academy. I am the best with them. I hope I don’t need a lot of time to adapt now.
– At the Bukovina Protection Center, you will have very rigid competition, many good central defenders in the team. How do you feel about this competition?
– Yes, I looked at the team warehouse and there are many central defenders in it. I think competition is good. You always realize that your back is a turn and you need to work constantly and give up to the maximum at every workout. I think that in such competition it is more interesting to work.
-Earlier you in Bukovina performed at the 88th number, and now you took the 37th. Explain your decision.
– Well, then there was no choice (laughs). And now … in fact, I love the 3rd and 5th numbers, but they are busy. And under the 37th I played in Polissya and I liked Martin Shkrtel’s game as Liverpool’s fan, and he performed in Liverpool at the 37th number. I always, when busy 3 and 5th numbers, I take myself 37th.
– A very banal question: what goals do you set in Bukovina? Both personal and team.
– If personal, then of course, you want to progress with each workout, with each game, to become part of the team that could achieve the goals set by management. I want to bring the team in the field of maximum benefit. Of course, every footballer wants to play in the starting lineup – this is a normal phenomenon. The main thing – you want to enjoy football here!
