Lviv “Karpaty” could be led by a Croatian specialist Ihor Yovichevich. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Insides from the Beekeeper 2.0”.
According to the source, the UPL club held negotiations with the 52-year-old specialist, who agreed to lead the team, but demanded a very large salary, as well as transfers of several players, including winger Oleksiy Hutsuliak.
Now Ihor Jovičevych works with “Vidzev” from the Polish championship. He is best known to Ukrainian fans for his work in “Karpaty”, “Dnipro-1” and “Shakhtar”.
Vladyslav Lupashko will be replaced by the Spaniard Fran Fernandez in Karpaty.
Earlier it was reported that “Karpaty” announced plans for the winter break.
