As Sport.ua learned, Shakhtar Donetsk offered its conditions for extending the contract with Yuchym Konopley. The defender is offered $700,000 per year under the new contract, or roughly $60,000 per month.
The player himself has not yet decided whether he wants to stay at Shakhtar or continue his career in Europe.
Earlier it was reported that the defender Yukhym Konoplya, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026, set a cosmic salary request – 1.5 million dollars per year. No Brazilian in the club receives such an amount. Konoplya wants to be the highest paid player of the club and refuses to negotiate on other terms.
