Former French national team player Bixent Lazarus told why the leader of Real Madrid Kylian Mbappe were not released to the national team for the upcoming matches of the League of Nations:
“Kilian wanted to come and play for the national team, but they didn’t let him do it. This is a sanction or punishment from the head coach.
Last time Kylian said that he was injured, and then he played for the club and even rested in Sweden. Deschamps did not understand such a concession and decided to punish the player. The coach decided to show that you shouldn’t do that,” said Bixent.
The French national team has 9 points in Group 2 of League A and is only one point behind the first place. Deschamps’ wards will play against Israel (November 14) and Italy (November 17). The match with the Italians will most likely be a battle for first place.
