– I cannot agree with the statement that everything will be easy with Azerbaijan. I think this team can potentially play quite strongly and create problems for our national team. I would come very seriously to this match, but I have no doubt that it will be. However, after defeat from France, all the players understand the importance of this game.
– Bookmakers consider Ukraine a favorite in the game with Azerbaijan. Do such schedules correspond to the real forces of these national teams?
– Of course, our team is stronger. We have a very high level players and a number of them act in the top championships. Because of this, I think we are favorites. There are no questions here.
I think the victory should be ours, but again I repeat, it is necessary to exclude even reflections or imagination at a subconscious level that playing with Azerbaijan will become easy. I urge us to come as concentrated as much as possible.
– Will any result of the Ukrainian national team in the game with Azerbaijan besides the victory to be a failure?
– I don’t even want to think about it. I am sure that the national team of Ukraine will win. Of course, if it is virtually assuming that we do not win in Azerbaijan, then it will be a very poor result, – says Grigorchuk.
