Football is scattered: the women get the struggle for the gold for UPL

On Sunday, August 3, a new season of the Ukrainian Football Championship will begin with women in the highest league. The first round will last from August 3 to August 4 (four matches – Sunday, one on Monday).

10 teams will compete for the gold medal. Obolon came out compared to last season.

The women’s championship will be held in two stages:

• The first is that football teams spend two circles.
• The second – the teams, according to the results of the first stage according to the occupied places, form two groups. Further, women will expect two circles of matches.

The title of champion and prize places will play teams that will take from the first to fifth place in group 1. In the other group of teams from 6 to 10 place will fight for survival.

We will remind that the gold of the Ukrainian league last season won Poltava “Vorskla”, silver and bronze took away “Metalist 1925” and “Kolos” respectively. These three teams will represent Ukraine in the European Cups: Vorskla and Metalist 1925 will play the Champions League qualification, but Kolos will perform in the selection of the Europa League.
