Head coach of the Catalan “Barcelona” Hansie Flick appreciated the idea of a possible signing of the legendary Argentinian striker of the American “Inter Miami” Lionel Messi:
“Messi is the best player of the last ten years, if not more. I always enjoyed watching him play. His contract with Inter Miami expires in 2028 and mine with Barcelona expires in 2027, so signing him is not up to me.”
In 2025, Lionel Messi played 46 matches at the club level, scoring 42 goals and 20 assists. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at 18 million euros.
