On May 9 there was a 28th round match Championship of UkraineIn which Zhytomyr Polesie and Dynamo Kyiv met.
The teams failed to determine the stronger – the match ended with a score of 0: 0. In this meeting, the head coach of “White-blue” Alexander Shovkovsky was forced to replace the central defender Denis Popova in the 75th minute.
After the final whistle, the mentor reported that the replacement was unplanned and Popov left the field due to damage. It is still unknown when the football player will be able to get back to workouts. Denis will undergo a medical examination, after which the recovery time will be known.
It is worth noting that on May 14, Dynamo will play in the final match of the Cup of Ukraine against Shakhtar Donetsk. The teams will meet in Zhytomyr, the beginning of the meeting is scheduled for 18:30.
