Defender of the people of Lviv Roman Didyk told exclusively for Sport.ua whether the final score is fair:
– Dynamo did not surprise us with anything. We expected such a game from the hosts in the transition phase, with ball control. Therefore, they were alert, first of all, taking care to move the game away from their goal thanks to high pressing. Yes, we didn’t always have enough intensity, we didn’t do without gaps, but we significantly complicated the life of the people of Kyiv, forcing them to make mistakes.
I think that the fans were satisfied: the rivalry was on opposing courses, it was dynamic, and there were enough scoring opportunities. After a shot by our Ihor Krasnopir, the ball even ended up in the net of the home team’s goal, but it was flagged for offside, twice more our striker did not realize one-on-one exits with the home team’s keeper. After the final whistle, Krasnopyr was a little depressed and we consoled his ego with the whole team. The main thing is that he is focused on the goal and will definitely take his own.
As for the result, in my opinion, a draw is fair. Dynamo did not score today, we wish them to correct their sights on September 25, when they will host Lazio from Italy in the Europa League.
