Roma’s Italian coach Claudio Raniera spoke about the Ukrainian striker “Wolves” Artem Dovbyke:
“Dovbyk needs passes, that’s what he’s best at, and we should try to use it. Regardless of our game tactics, we need to try to hang on to him. Whoever it is – a full-back or a winger – we need players who can play on the wing and cross.”
On December 18, Artem scored a double in the match of the 1/8 finals of the Italian Cup against Sampdoria, which helped the Wolves win with a score of 4:1.
This season, Dovbyk played 21 matches for Roma in all competitions, in which he scored 8 goals and provided 1 assist.
