The player began to play in the youthful staff of the Talieres team, from where he went into professional football. Almost his career has spent in this club – which is 12 seasons. He played more than 250 matches and scored 25 goals.
In 1978, Galvan was included in the Argentine national team for the 1978 World Cup. As it turned out, for the Argentines that mundial was successful.
The player was 30 when he decided to leave Thalieres and went to the Loma Negro team. He officially reported that he was coming from Argentina.
In 1986, he spent one season at Bolivar Club from Bolivia, and ended his career in his hometown, playing for the Fernandez Amateur Club.
