“Couldn’t sleep.” Mykolenko explained why it was difficult in Everton after Dynamo

Ukrainian defender of “Everton” Vitaly Mykolenko said that it is still difficult for him to get used to the fact that his team must fight not for the top places in the championship, but for the preservation of registration in the division.

“It is very difficult, morally difficult – when you play for three years and every hour you have to fight for the right to stay. It is not easy for me.

It’s difficult for me, but I go out on the field every time and try to progress to help us not find ourselves in a situation where the team is fighting for survival.

Of course, at home I try not to think about it, but my wife told me that an hour or two ago, when we were in the relegation zone after some matches, I woke up every morning in the same place. She told me: “Don’t worry, everything is fine.”

I was especially worried about this at the end of the first season. I sometimes couldn’t sleep because of this pressure, but that’s normal.

I understand our fans when they support us in every match, but we do not achieve a result. It’s so annoying if we lose or draw,” Vitalya is quoted as saying by the BBC.

Mykolenko is a pupil of Kyiv “Dynamo”, as part of which he became the champion of Ukraine, twice won the national cup and three times – the country’s Super Cup.

Earlier, Everton fans reacted to Vitaliy’s game in the winning match of the 22nd round of the Premier League against Tottenham.
