Nuremberg’s head coach Miroslav Klose explained why the Ukrainian forward Artem Stepanova was transferred to the U-23 team.
“Artem did not receive a lot of game time during his international tour of the youth team, so we deliberately decided to give him a game practice in the team of up to 23 years against a strong opponent.
This situation was also clearly discussed with him. He played a very worthy match for the U-23 team and even scored a goal, “said Nuremberg coach in an interview with Bild.
It is interesting that earlier Klose repeatedly criticized Stepanov for his weak game in martial arts, as well as for demonstration of “youth football”.
