Christmas ended tragically. A 14-year-old football player was shot dead in Uruguay

A tragic incident happened in Montevideo (Uruguay) on Christmas Day – a 14-year-old football player was shot Geral Frost, who played as a goalkeeper in the Torke youth team.

The Ministry of the Interior of Uruguay said that the murder happened after 1:00 a.m. in the Placido Eliaura area. Local media reports that during a quarrel between neighbors, shots were fired and the victim fell to the ground. Froste was shot by a man whose identity has already been established and who, according to police records, has six convictions.

When the police arrived at the scene, riots began, during which angry witnesses of the event set the suspect’s house on fire. When the police caught him, he confessed to the murder.
