Alexander is a pupil of the Olympic-Uor football school Donetsk. In 2011, he moved to Shakhtar Academy.
Initially, Zubkov advocated the Junior team of “Crot”, and already on September 23, 2015 he made his debut for the main team in the match of the Cup of Ukraine against Ternopil. For the first time in the Ukrainian Championship, Alexander played on April 16, 2016 against Lugansk Dawn.
On August 31, 2018, Zubkov became a player of Mariupol on rent. On May 31, 2019, the Ukrainian striker again transferred to the Hungarian “Ferencvaros”.
Already on July 10, Alexander distinguished himself with his debut ball for the new team in the match of the first qualifying round of the Champions League against Ludogorts.
Subsequently, the Hungarian club, being satisfied with the performances of the Ukrainian, bought it from Shakhtar.
Alexander spent three years in Hungary, during which he participated in 110 matches and scored 42 points under the goal + Pass system (19 g + 23 a).
Exactly two years (2022), Zubkov returned to the “moles” and spent three more seasons in the Donetsk club, playing 54 matches and scoring 15 balls.
Last winter, the Ukrainian was purchased by Turkish Trabzonpor for 6 million euros. Since then, Zubkov spent 20 matches in the Turkish team, which scored 8 goals and gave 4 productive gears.
At the international level, Alexander made his debut at the age of 24-October 7, 2020 in the match against France (1: 7). He scored the first goal in the blue and yellow T-shirt on June 3, 2021 at the goal of Northern Ireland-this meeting became a tenth for the Ukrainian attacker as part of the national team. In total, Zubkov spent 39 matches for the Ukrainian national team, marking 5 effective actions (3 g+ 2 a).
At the club level as part of four teams (Shakhtar, Mariool, Ferencvaros, Trabzonspor) he played 278 matches, scored 62 goals, gave 60 assistants and won 15 trophies:
