The 2025/26 Vorskla Poltava will be held in the First League. The team is on vacation, but will soon begin preparation for the start of the championship.
The players and staff of the first team of Poltava Vorskla will soon leave the vacation, the club’s press service reports. According to preliminary information, the team will gather in Poltava on June 23.
Last season Vorskla was spent in UPL. The team took 13th place and, according to the results of transitional matches from FC “Kudrivka” dropped to the first league.
After the unsuccessful season, the head coach of the team Yuri Maximov left his post. The name of the new mentor is still unknown. The leadership of the Poltava Club is now working to address this issue.
Earlier it was reported that Vorskla could head a foreign specialist.
