– Of course, it was possible to finish higher in the standings. And had to finish higher. I wanted to fight for the European Cup places, because we showed we could fight these teams. – What about the match with the Carpathians did you tell the team the main one?

– Yes, I would like to find another such football player into the team and invite it. This is very important for the team. We have one of the youngest UPL teams. We need one or two experienced players to add to these youth, which we have.
– This question is interesting in something. Theoretically, if you had the opportunity, would you be invited to the Dawn of Luke Modric after his career in Reality? Would such a football player come in handy?
– I think Luke Modric would come in handy even at that age.
– In general, what do you say about Modrich’s bow? Is he pride for Croatia and in principle for world football?
– Of course, he is the pride of Croatia. He is a legend of Croatian and world football. Modric is an example for all young players in Croatia and all over the world. He showed how to break from the bottom to the top. With such competition in the face of Messi, Ronaldo and other stars, winning the Golden Ball is expensive.
– You, by the way, crossed with him in the field in Croatia, when you played for “Haiduk” split, and he for Dynamo Zagreb! What were they for the matches?
– We have intersected a lot especially in youth football in Croatia and in all national teams (youth and national teams). Luke has always been a leader in the field and the field. He always led a team behind himself. Modric was always distinguished by his game. It can be said that all of him was predicted by a good career. But it seems to me that no one could think that his career would be the one he reached. It is purely his work, merit and his talent.
– And you also had a derby when he played for Dynamo, and you for “hiku”!
– Yes, we had a derby between Dynamo and Hayduk. The game lasted more than a hundred minutes. We led 1: 0, won. Then the field was thrown by fires and because of this the pause was 15-20 minutes. But eventually we won 1: 0. This derby was remembered as very bright.
– What are the closest plans in the dawn? What will be the off -season team?
– We started a vacation. We are gathering on June 20 in Kiev. And in a few days we plan to go to Slovenia and spend about a month there. We have about seven sparring. That year we were already there. Slovenia has created very good conditions for work. There were also good sparring.
– Maybe if you make the right selection and make the right choice for players, will it be the next season with Zorya to surprise everyone, how did Rotan with Alexandria?
– It is difficult to say if you can repeat this result. But what you need to do and intensify the right breeding is definitely. We have a team back. But in any case, you need to intensify and create competition for boys. Then there will be progress in the guys and the ability to have more variations during the game to replace.
– Which match did you like the most? What kind of dawn match this season can be taken as an example with a focus for the new season?
– There have been many good matches with us. And with Shakhtar and Dynamo. With the same “LNZ”, with “movement”. In the second round, this victorious match with the Carpathians. This match is a good example of how you need to work next season!
