Arteta is in 3rd place in the history of the Champions League in average number of points per game

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is the third best manager in Champions League history by average number of points scored per match.

After the victorious away match of the 7th round against Inter, the Spanish specialist averaged 2.16 points per game.

Arteta achieved this result in 31 matches of the tournament.

Ahead of the Spaniard in the rating are only two German coaches – Hans-Dieter Flick (2.32) and Jupp Heynckes (2.26).

It is worth noting that the rating is compiled only from those coaches who played at least 25 matches at the head of the teams of the most prestigious tournament in Europe.
