Andrey Yarmolenko approached Seleznev and is chasing Sergei Rebrov

In the match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian Premier League “Dynamo” – “Veres” (3:0), which took place on December 14 last year, the winger Andriy Yarmolenko scored a goal in the 90th+1st minute.

The player of the national team of Ukraine increased the number of his goals in the domestic elite division to 116 and thus reduced the gap from the third place in the historical rating of goal scorers.

The former Dynamo player Maksym Shatskykh, who has 124 effective shots, remains the leader of this rating. The second and third places are occupied by Evgeny Seleznyov and the current coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhii Rebrov.

Among the participants of the 2025/26 season of the elite division, the closest to the top 20 scorers are Vitaliy Buyalskyi (Dynamo, 72), Pylyp Budkivskyi (Zorya, 57) and Oleksiy Hutsuliak (Polyssia, 47).
