The football player will take the place of a legionnaire in the club’s application after passing a medical examination and obtaining a P-1 visa and an international transfer certificate.
James Rodriguez has joined Minnesota United after playing for Leon in the Mexican league. He previously played for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Monaco, Porto, Everton, Olympiakos, Al Rayyan and Sao Paulo.
At international level, James has made 122 appearances for Colombia, scoring 31 goals and is the current captain of the national team. He played at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups and is preparing to lead the national team at the 2026 World Cup.
