At the same time, following the results of the general stage, Kairat, Villarreal, Slavia Prague, Eintracht, Marseille, Napoli, Ajax, Copenhagen, Athletic, PSV, Union Saint-Gilloise and Paphos left the tournament.

Thus, the Champions League enters a decisive phase, where fans can expect elimination matches and possible top confrontations already in the early stages of the tournament.
