ESTIMATED LOSSES OF THE ENEMY
MAIN NEWS 🔸 Journalist Inna Kardash was detained in Kyiv. She is suspected of spying for the Belarusian KGB.
🔸 At night, Russian troops massively attacked Odessa. Three people died, another 23 were injured, including two children and a pregnant woman
🔸 The Ukrainian military refuted the statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense about the alleged “liberation” of Kupyansk-Vuzlovoi in the Kharkiv region. They emphasized that the village is not only not under the control of the invaders, but is not even tangential to the direct line of contact
🔸 In the Kharkiv region, three Russian Shahed drones hit the Barvinkovo — Lviv — Chop passenger train. Currently, two injured and five dead are known

🔸 President Zelensky updated the composition of the NSDC. It included Minister of Energy Shmyhal and Minister of Defense Fedorov. At the same time, Malyuk, the former head of the SBU, was removed from the composition.
🔸 President Zelensky confirmed that the next tripartite meeting between Ukraine, Russia and the USA is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, February 1.

INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (16:00)
The enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation launched artillery attacks on populated areas, in particular Liskivshchyna of the Chernihiv region; Bila Bereza, Kucherivka, Rogizne, Volfine, Budky, Bezsalivka, Ryzhivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Seredyna-Buda, Tovstodubov, Stukalyvka of the Sumy region. The settlement of Volfine, Sumy region, was hit by an airstrike.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 40 attacks on populated areas and positions of our units.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka and Vovchanski Khutory.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to advance in the direction of Kupyansk, in general, one skirmish took place in this direction.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attack by invaders in the area of Drobysheve settlement.
There was one skirmish in the Slavyansk direction in the direction of the Platonivka settlement.
At the moment, no clashes have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the direction of Kostyantynivka, the invaders carried out eight offensive actions near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Shcherbynivka, Sofiivka and towards Stepanivka and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction today, the enemy tried 23 times to advance to our positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske and towards Filia, Bilytskyi, Hryshiny. One battle is currently ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivsk direction, the aggressor attacked twice in the areas of Verbove and Zlagoda settlements.
In the Gulyaipil direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Solodke, Gulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka, and in the direction of Dobropilly and Zeleny. Two attacks are still ongoing. In addition, enemy aircraft struck the settlements of Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa.
In the Orihiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders in the Plavni district. The settlements of Odarivka, Zhovta Krucha and Tavriyske were hit by airstrikes.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy once carried out offensive actions in the area of the Antonivsky bridge without any results.
No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other directions.
Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle and in the rear.
Today is an active day of diplomatic work. I have just spoken to Keir Starmer, the British Prime Minister. Today I had conversations with the Prime Minister of Norway and the Chancellor of Austria. I want to thank you for your support. Very sincere interest in the negotiations with America and the Russian side. Our teams are working actively – today we worked with government officials and the team of the President’s Office on the reconstruction document. I hope that our partners feel the same way about tasks. Clear guarantees of security for Ukraine and all of Europe, absolutely clear obligations and opportunities for rebuilding Ukraine and, of course, real opportunities to end this war with dignity. Now no one in the world can have any doubts about what kind of war this is, who started it, why the war is still going on. Everyone understands that this is a Russian war. And the responsibility is also Russian to end the war. And there must be pressure on Russia.
We are now receiving good signals from Europe regarding the readiness of the Europeans to put more pressure on the aggressor. It is very important that it be pressure, in particular, on the Russian tanker fleet, on the entire infrastructure of Russian oil exports. It will help us all in Europe a lot if Russian revenues are cut even further. We can already see colossal new problems in the aggressor with the federal budget, also with inflation, with economic indicators. These are all good, correct signals for peace to come after all. The more difficult it is for Russia, the closer peace is.
We spoke with the Prime Minister of Great Britain about these strikes in particular, about the need to protect our state and people.
Today in Odesa during the day, rescue work, sorting out the debris after the Russian strike. Fifty-two strike drones were directed against the city, many against the center of Odessa, the area around “Pryvoz”. There were no military facilities there, there are none, and in fact all the targets of the Russian “shaheeds” are ordinary houses and simple civilian infrastructure. The blow was hard. Most of the drones were shot down, but unfortunately not all. Three people died – my condolences to the family and friends. Almost 50 people applied for help. And this is one blow to one city.
The day before, there was another Russian attack on Kharkiv’s energy sector. The impact of the RSZV is a multiple-launch rocket system. Significant there was damage, recovery will be as fast as possible – as much as possible. I want to recognize our State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Ukrenergo, and Kharkivoblenergo – all the specialists who are working to stabilize this situation. Everyone who works now for Ukraine’s stability is working to ensure that life as such wins.
I would also like to thank all those who work in Kyiv, Kyiv Oblast, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Chernihiv Oblast, in all regions, in all communities after the strikes.
There was also an attack by the Russians on the gas infrastructure in the western part of our country. But our help is everywhere. Everywhere there is work for the sake of life and people. I thank everyone who helps those around! I thank everyone who fights for Ukraine, as for himself.
