Spanish Valencia announced the transfer of central midfielder Guido Rodríguez, who previously played for English West Ham. The press service of the club informed about the conclusion of the agreement.

The parties do not disclose the details of the contract. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the market value of the 31-year-old footballer is 6 million euros.

The Argentinian defensive midfielder is well acquainted with the Spanish championship. Between 2020 and 2024, Rodríguez played for Betis, making 173 official appearances for the Sevilla club.

Guido Rodríguez also played for Tijuana, América, River Plate and Defensa and Justicia in different years. In 2022, he became the world champion as part of the national team of Argentina.

In the 2025/26 season, Rodríguez made eight appearances for West Ham without scoring.

After the 21st round of the Spanish championship, Valencia is in 14th place in the standings with 23 points. The team will play its next match on February 1 away against Betis. The meeting is scheduled to start at 17:15 Kyiv time.
