The new agreement of the 24-year-old Englishman is designed for four and a half years – until the end of June 2030.
Garner joined Everton in the summer of 2022 from Manchester United for €10.4m and has since become an important figure in the team.
Under David Moyes, the midfielder has established himself in the starting line-up, playing mostly in midfield but also covering a few other positions as the coaching staff needs. In the 2025/26 season, Garner started every match in all tournaments.
In addition, he is one of the most effective players in the Premier League statistically. He has 64 tackles, 32 interceptions and 27 key assists for a total of 123 tackles, which is the best in the league at the moment.
