Striker Cristiano Ronaldo plans to leave Al-Nasr in the summer of 2027, when his current contract expires. However, as reported journalist Ben JacobsSaudi Arabia is developing a strategy to keep the Portuguese in the country even after his playing career is over.

In particular, the option under which Ronaldo will become a full co-owner of the club is being considered. It plans to increase its current stake in Al-Nasr to 15%. The league is exploring such steps to prevent a sharp drop in global interest in the championship after Cristiano retires from the field.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nasr in 2023 as a free agent. The 40-year-old forward has been impressive this season, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists in 20 appearances.

Earlier, Buffon compared the playing style of Ronaldo and Messi.
