Italian Napoli reached an agreement in principle with Verona regarding the transfer of Brazilian striker Giovane. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the clubs have already shaken hands and the transfer has reached the finish line.

The parties have agreed on a transfer format that will consist of two stages: The player will join Antonio Conte’s team on a temporary basis. The agreement provides for a buyout clause of the football player’s contract. The amount of a full-fledged transfer can amount to more than 20 million euros.

It is expected that all the formalities will be settled very quickly. Giovane should arrive in Naples and complete his transition within the next 24 hours.

​The player, who moved to the Italian club from Corinthians only in the summer as a free agent, became one of the main revelations of the season in Serie A. His rapid progress did not go unnoticed. ​Thanks to his ability to play on either wing of the attack, technical skill and speed, Giovane is considered a modern versatile striker.
