Lviv Carpathians held the first control match within the framework of training sessions in Spain. The wards of Fran Fernandez narrowly lost to the vice-champion of South Korea — Daejeon with a score of 1:2.

The Lviv players started the match well and opened the scoring in the 9th minute. Yaroslav Karabin took advantage of Fedor’s precise pass, got into a striking position and coolly shot past the goalkeeper — 1:0.

The Korean team quickly regained the balance: Taejeon equalized in the 26th minute. At the end of the first half, the match escalated — after a rough foul against Fedor, a fight broke out between the players. In the end, red cards were given to Edson in the Karpat team and Joao Victor in Tejoon, and both teams finished the match in the minority.

In the second half, the game was less dynamic, but in the 84th minute, the Korean club took advantage of the counterattack and scored the decisive goal. In this way, the Carpathians suffered a defeat (1:2) in the debut match of the Spanish coach Francisco Fernandez.

The Lviv team will play their next test match on January 22 against Real Murcia B. The match starts at 12:00 Kyiv time.
