Como made surprisingly easy progress against Lazio at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico with a convincing 3-0 win in the 21st round of Italian Serie A. The guests scored a quick ball, completely controlled the course of the match and did not leave any chances to Maurizio Sarri’s team.

Komo opened the score in the 2nd minute of the meeting. Martin Baturina received the ball on the approaches to the penalty area and hit the far corner of Ivan Provedel’s goal with a precise round shot. A quickly conceded goal knocked Lazio out of rhythm, and the confident actions of the visitors only increased the pressure on the hosts.

In the middle of the first half, Como’s advantage became even more tangible. In the 24th minute, Nico Paz was the first to focus on finishing after a save by Provedel and doubled the score. Soon, the Argentine had a chance to complete a double from the penalty spot, but the Lazio goalkeeper managed to parry the shot and briefly left hope for the home team.

However, at the beginning of the second half, all questions about the winner were removed. In the 49th minute, Paz hit a powerful long-range shot into the left corner and scored Como’s third goal, making it a double. After that, the guests acted competently on the score, not allowing Lazio to organize a final assault.

The Romans tried to change the flow of the game with substitutions, and Gustav Isaksen even forced Jean Bute to show some skill, but overall Comeau looked much more organized and confidently took the match to victory.
