The African Cup of Nations ended in Morocco, as a result of which the Senegal national team became the champion of the continent for the second time in history. During the closing ceremony, FIFA presented individual awards to the best players of the tournament.

Sadio Mane, the winger of An-Nasr and the national team of Senegal, received the main honor – the title of the best player of CAN-2025. The 33-year-old forward played seven matches, scoring two goals and three assists.

For Mane, this award was the second in his career after success at the 2021 African Cup of Nations. In this way, the Senegalese became only the third player in history to win the title of MVP of the tournament twice – previously Cameroonian Roger Milly and Egyptian Ahmed Hassan managed to do it.

The best scorer of the competition was the attacking midfielder of the Moroccan national team, Braim Diaz, who scored five goals in seven matches. At the same time, it was he who did not take the penalty at the end of the final match.

The award for the best goalkeeper of the tournament went to Moroccan Yassin Bounu. The 34-year-old goalkeeper played in all seven matches, conceded only two goals, kept five clean sheets and helped the team win one penalty shootout.

In addition, the Moroccan national team was awarded a special FIFA fair play prize for observing the principles of fair play throughout the tournament.
