Is the championship race in the German Bundesliga this season a settled question? Maybe it really is, because after the first round, the advantage of Bayern Munich over the rest of the championship teams looked very convincing. And the performance of Vincent Kompany’s team is generally scary to look at under such conditions. “Rekordmeister” has never been inferior to the same in the national championship.

But there is still a whole second round ahead, during which teams will try to catch up with Bayern. Among them is RB Leipzig, with a match against which the Kompany team began its victorious journey in the Bundesliga in its current draw at the end of August last year. At the Allianz Arena then, the score was stunning – 6:0, so the “red bulls” under Ole Werner had a natural desire to take at least some revenge in front of their own fans.

And in view of the team’s play in the first half, there were indeed reasons to believe that the home team would succeed in this meeting. Because Leipzig managed to stretch the opponents’ defense as wide as possible, and instead played almost flawlessly at the back when Bayern tried to get out of the pressing. RB even managed to score in the middle of the first half of the meeting.
