The match of the 18th round of the German Bundesliga between Werder and Eintracht Frankfurt turned into a real thriller and ended in a productive draw — 3:3. The home team was one step away from victory, but conceded a decisive goal in stoppage time.

Eintracht shocked Werder with a quick ball: already in the 1st minute, Arno Kalimuendo opened the scoring with a spectacular shot. The Bremen team quickly came to their senses and equalized in the 29th minute — Justin Nzhinmah realized a one-on-one goal from Sugawara’s pass. The score did not change before the break.

In the second half, the visitors took the lead again thanks to a goal by Nnamdi Collins in the 56th minute. However, Werder produced a powerful stretch at the end of the meeting: first, Jens Stage equalized with a header in the 78th minute, and three minutes later Jovan Milosevic made it 3:2 in favor of the home team after a quick attack.

It seemed that Werder would hold on for victory, but in the 90th + 5th minute, Eintracht saved themselves – Ansgar Knauff blocked a cross from the wing. After a VAR review, the goal was awarded, denying Bremen the coveted three points and leaving both teams feeling dissatisfied with the result.
