The Ukrainian defender moved to the club in the summer of 2025 on loan from Arsenal. The current agreement runs until the summer of this year, when the player’s contract with the London club also expires.
At the same time, it will not be easy to implement such a step. The agreement between the clubs does not provide for a mechanism for early termination of the lease, and Arsenal’s squad is already complete, which can become an additional obstacle in the case of the return of the football player.
In the current season, Zinchenko played 10 matches in all tournaments. He started only four times and so far has not distinguished himself with productive actions.
