“Are there similar emotions now to those I felt in 2010, when I first took charge of Chornomorets? Yes, there are similarities. First of all, I am happy to be here. Chornomorets occupies a very important place in my life. I simply love this club and will make every effort to help Chornomorets reach a high level again,” Grigorchuk said.
The coach noted the importance of fans’ support:
“Definitely yes, it is very important. I have a dream – to see a full stadium again, to win a high place in the championship and the right to play in the European Cups. I want all of us to feel the atmosphere many more times when Chornomorets plays high-quality, productive football in front of full stands. It becomes a real event that brings a lot of positivity and joy – not only from football, but also from life in general.”
Grigorchuk is not yet ready to name the composition of the coaching staff and the details of personnel changes:
“The coming days will be fully devoted to working with the team, because this matter needs urgent solutions and the most accurate information. We are already a little late with the start of preparations, so we will try to shorten the vacation as much as possible.”
The coach emphasized that he constantly strives for learning and self-improvement:
“In the last period, in the teams where I worked, I again gained a lot of new experience, new knowledge and understanding of processes. I am sure that all this will help me in my future work.”
