Milan forward Niklas Füllkrug suffered a foot injury and is forced to take a break from performances, reports Corriere della Sera.

According to the source, the German attacker was diagnosed with a partial fracture of the toe. He is expected to miss at least two weeks, after which his condition will be reviewed by the club’s doctors.

Füllkrug joined Milan at the end of December on loan from West Ham with an option to buy. In 2026, he managed to play in three Serie A matches, including matches against Cagliari, Genoa and Fiorentina, but did not stand out with his productive actions.

The injury complicates the staffing situation for Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who has relied on Füllkrug in the team’s attacking rotations. The club hopes the striker can return to action at the end of January.
