Celades replaced Juan Carlos Carcedo in this position, who left the club and decided to continue his career at a less prestigious club in the little-known so-called championship.
Albert Celades is known for his performances for Barcelona and Real Madrid, with whom he won the La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League titles. Also in his career were Celta, Bordeaux, Zaragoza and New York Red Bulls.
After finishing his playing career, Celades worked with the youth national teams of Spain, led the U-21 national team, was part of the coaching staff of the national team, worked as a representative of the “cream” and was the head coach of Valencia.
