ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE, VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY

Wish cheers! Briefly about this day. The report of the SBU is Yevgenia Khmary, he manages many of our operations. That’s what they were talking about. About operations that took place recently. The Security Service of Ukraine works effectively – I want to thank all operatives and special agents of the Service for this. It is still too early to speak publicly about some operations that the Russians have already experienced. Some of the operations are in progress.

I also bought new ones. We are actively defending ourselves, and all the Russian losses are what bring the end of the war closer. Our deep strikes, special measures – everything must continue, of course.

He also spoke with Kyryll Budanov, including about the sanctions policy. Last year, new cooperation was established with many partners to synchronize sanctions, but the pace must be greater, much greater.

Russian production of missiles and drones cannot exist without the supply of components from other countries, and this applies not just to some Russian products, but to all Russian weapons. These are weapons that are built on components that Russia itself does not produce. Therefore, blocking supply and expanding sanctions is one of our key priorities. And this should also be a priority for partners, our institutions should work more actively for this.

Budanov reported on some of the meetings as part of the diplomatic track. I expect a full, detailed report from the entire negotiating team. And in fact, we continue communication with the American side every day.

Today, Rustem Umerov was again in contact with American partners. This is our strategic task – the dialogue with America must be one hundred percent constructive. Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle for diplomacy, and our efficiency in working with partners is always of the highest level.

It will continue to be so. Only Russia is the source of this war, the cause of prolonging the war and deserves all the blows and pressure in response for everything it does against life and people, against diplomacy, against partners. We carefully monitor and record all attempts by the Russians to break our relations with our partners. We see which lobbyists Moscow is attracting, through whom it is trying to act, which internal operations in Ukraine and Europe it is trying to launch.

Our counteraction will be tangible – both in the line of special services, and in the line of our intelligence, and political cooperation with partners, and in particular, sanctions. It is important that the movement in the Congress of the United States has been renewed in the direction of tougher sanctions against Russia – against Russian oil. It can really work.

Thanks to everyone who helps. Today, I want to celebrate our soldiers, each and every one of them, who despite everything – despite constant blows, Russian assaults, despite all this hard, cold winter – defends our positions and destroys the occupier.

Pokrovsky direction – soldiers of the 38th brigade of marines, the 425th separate assault regiment, the 414th brigade of unmanned systems “Birds of Magyar” and the 14th brigade of operational assignment of the National Guard “Red Viburnum”. Thank you!

The Kramatorsk direction is primarily the soldiers of the 24th mechanized brigade. Thank you! The Kupyan direction – the 43rd mechanized brigade and the 13th brigade of the “Charter” National Guard. Thank you!

Soldiers of the 72nd mechanized brigade also deserve gratitude in our Kharkiv region. Well done, warriors! Gulyaipole – 5th Assault Brigade, 1st and 225th Assault Regiments. Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who fights for Ukraine! Mykhailo Fedorov gave a report today, in fact, on the plan of our defense – strategic things were discussed. I expect that next week parliamentarians will support Mykhailo for the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

We have an action plan for the defense sector. The same as for diplomacy. And it depends solely on the determination of the partners, which plan will become the main one for the year. The war must be ended. For this, we need to put pressure on Russia. Anyone who speaks the language of ballistics and “shaheeds” will not understand anything but force. We work to make the world work effectively. Glory to Ukraine!

We believe in the Armed Forces and help them! Together we are a force! Glory to Ukraine!
