Galatasaray have opened talks with representatives of Manchester City and Portugal international attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva with a view to his transfer in the summer of 2026. It is reported insider Nicolo Scira.

According to a source, the Istanbul club are looking to sign the 31-year-old Portuguese as a free agent as his contract with Manchester City expires on June 30. Negotiations are currently at an early stage, but Galatasaray’s interest is concrete.

An important role in a possible transfer can be played by Ilkay Gundogan, a close friend of Bernardo Silva and his former partner in the “city” camp. It is noted that the German midfielder spoke positively about the Galatasaray project and has already spoken with the Portuguese.
