The head coach of Olympique Marseille, Roberto De Zerbi, spoke after the penalty shootout defeat by Paris Saint-Germain (2:2, 1:4 on penalties) in the final of the French Super Cup.

“I have never cried after defeats, but this time I cried when I went back to the dressing room.

I can only be proud of the whole team, the club in general. We fought against an opponent with much greater resources, and we did not concede in any of the components of the game.

We had a special preparation against the best team in Europe and Marseille deserved to win,” said De Dzerby.
