The former Leicester striker and now the leader of the Italian Cremonese attack Jamie Vardy proved that age is just a number. The Englishman scored his anniversary goal in Serie A yesterday against Cagliari, which became his 150th in Europe’s top divisions (English Premier League and Italian Serie A).

Out of 150 goals in the elite, the lion’s share of more than 116 — Vardy scored just after exchanging the fourth dozen. This figure makes him one of the most effective age forwards in the modern history of the major championships. The leader according to this indicator is five-time Golden Ball winner Ronaldo. After 30 years, he managed to score 290 goals in the five highest divisions of Europe.

Vardy celebrated his 30th birthday on 11 January 2017. Since then, he has maintained impressive statistics. Jamie left Leicester last summer after scoring 200 goals in 500 appearances for them and winning the Premier League title in 2016.
