Gabriel Martinelli will face no further disciplinary action from the Football Association (FA) following his controversial incident against Liverpool.

It is reported that English football’s governing body will not consider retrospectively punishing the Brazilian. The key factor was that the main referee of the match saw the episode and assessed the attacker’s actions with a yellow card directly during the game.

As a rule, the FA rarely reviews incidents for which players have already been cautioned, unless they are of an extremely violent nature. In addition to the official protocol, the situation was positively influenced by the behavior of the football player himself after the game.

Martinelli has reportedly apologized to Conor Bradley both privately and publicly. He admitted he acted on emotion when he tried to pick up the injured defender, believing he was feigning or stalling.
