The new boss has Sean Maloney and Mark Featheringham as assistants, while Stephen McManus will join the existing coaching staff of Gavin Strahan, Stevie Woods and Greg Wallace to work with the first team.
O’Neill’s appointment followed the quick resignation of French coach Wilfried Nancy, who had been in charge for just one month. Under his leadership, the team played 8 matches in which they won 2 and lost 6.
Celtic are currently 2nd in the Scottish Championship after 20 rounds, with 38 points and six points behind leaders Hearts.
