Manchester City confirmed that the team’s central defender Joshko Guardiol suffered a fracture of his right leg during the second half of the match of the 20th round of the English Premier League against Chelsea (1:1).

Guardiola, 23, is scheduled to undergo surgery this week. Currently, the medical staff continues to evaluate the full extent of the injury and the prognosis for recovery time.

The club wished Yoshko a speedy recovery and announced that they will publish updates on his rehabilitation.
