As reported insider Fabrizio Romanothe Catalan club sent Al Hilal an initial offer for the loan of the Portuguese full-back.
According to the source, it is a loan agreement, according to which Barcelona is ready to cover only a small part of the salary of the 31-year-old player. Negotiations between the parties are ongoing, a final decision has not yet been made.
At the same time, Inter already has a verbal agreement with Al-Hilal regarding the loan of Cancelo, which was reached last week. Despite this, the footballer himself is currently in no hurry to agree to a transfer to the Milan club.
Cancelo is waiting for Barcelona’s decision – it remains his priority option. It was previously reported that the key factor for the Catalans is the compliance of the potential transfer with the requirements of financial fair play, which may determine the fate of the deal in the near future.
