St. Pauli have signed a Japanese defender “Pirates” found reinforcements in Japan.

German St. Pauli completed the transfer of central defender Tomoi Ando from Japanese club Avispa Fukuoka. This was reported by the official website of the Hamburg club.
Details of the deal are not being disclosed.
In 2025, Ando spent his first season in Japan’s top league. He played 36 matches and scored four goals.
In July, the defender was called up to the Japanese national team for the first time, for which he has played three matches so far.
