According to the official website of “Spurs”, the agreement is calculated until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 21-year-old joined the London club in July from Japanese side Kawasaki Frontale. Takaj has recently recovered from injury and made his first appearance for Tottenham in the recent Premier League win against Crystal Palace (1-0).
Kota Takai is also a player of the Japanese national team. The centre-back has four caps for his country, making his debut in September 2024 against China in a crushing 7-0 victory for the Japanese.
