Genoa are working to strengthen their goalkeeping position and are trying to negotiate the signing of Dominik Livakovic.

According to information insider Nicolo Scira, the Italian club has already approached Fenerbahce with an offer to rent the 30-year-old goalkeeper with the option to buy.

Livakovic is currently playing for Girona on loan, but has not played a single match since his transfer in September.

It was reported that the Croatian seeks to change the club due to a lack of game practice and the desire to preserve the chances of getting into the national team for the 2026 World Cup, refusing to go on the field for the Catalans.

Genoa’s plan B should the Livaković deal fail is Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas. According to the source, an exchange option involving Nicola Leali is possible.
