Portugal’s Braga head coach Carlos Vicens has recalled the days when he worked in Pep Guardiola’s coaching staff at Manchester City. His words are quoted by The Athletic.

“It was impossible to relax. He demanded that you understand all the details.

For a few months after the Champions League final (Man City beat Inter 1-0 – note) he was thinking about how we could attack better in that game and deal with Inter’s pressing more effectively.

The same thing happened in conversations on the plane, over meals or while watching the next game on TV,” Vicens said.

After 16 matches played in the Portuguese championship, Braga is in fifth place in the tournament table.
