Luhansk Zorya announced the signing of Panamanian forward Verley Barrera from the Allianz club on loan. The term of the agreement is not disclosed, but the lease agreement includes a buyout option that the Ukrainian club can activate.

According to Transfermarkt, Barrera’s contract with Alianza runs until September 5, 2025, and the player’s market value is estimated at 200,000 euros.

Verlei Barrera, 23, is a center forward but can also play on the right wing. In his career, he played for Panamanian clubs San Francisco and Alliance. As a member of the latter since 2022, he played 118 matches, scored 18 goals and provided 9 assists.

Zorya finished the first part of the UPL season in the 8th position of the tournament table. In 16 rounds, Viktor Skrypnyk’s team scored 23 points.
